What are you doing to honour it? Шановні парафіяни, Hеділя - це все-таки День Господа. Що ви все робите, щоб його шанувати? Praying inside the church Parishioners are reminded that present restrictions on numbers in church are generous. We are rarely at capacity, because the outside is so nice and the weather is good. Perhaps when you see people outside you think the inside is full? It's probably not. Please don't hesitate to check... if you are healthy come up to the front door- sign our log book and put on a mask. There is usually room up front or you will be shown to your place.  That's  it- simple. Yes- seating is still available for those who need it.  Praying outside On the porch, in the courtyard, with social distancing, we can accommodate many more those who cannot be inside.  This is a Goddsend for parents with young children and those who are concerned with being inside. Don't take this opportunity for granted. Something to think about If you generally go about the rest of your life grocery shopping, having patio drinks or getting haircuts you can definitely come to church. Concerned about crowds? Come to Vespers or Matins- no crowds.. Do not take for granted our set up. Take advantage the great weather,  loosened restrictions and generally good reductions in covid cases- start making church services a part of your routine again. Tell your friends.  Note: Those who are sick, immunocompromised, take care of elderly or are at risk must take good care of themselves and are therefore exempted from attending church in person. Pray the Typica or join us on line until you can come to church again. Please call the parish office if you wish to visit the church on your own or explore alternative options.  More questions? When you receive in your home a stranger, you are welcoming Christ into your home.  Currently we need a place for a priest and his wife, a priest and his wife and three children, four monks, and more! Church Consecration Preparation: notice 1

JUST 6 WEEKS AWAY- ПОМІЧ ПОТРІБНA! Volunteer help will be needed from now until Consecration every saturday (or during the week too please call the office). Please block off time in your schedule to help! More details below.

1. VOLUNTEERS NEEDED ON CHURCH GROUNDS EVERY SATURDAY - from 1-6 p.m. (then supper and Vespers).  if you can only come in the morning - or only for a couple of hours, that's OK.  Come when you can - there is much to be done. ПОМІЧ ПОТРІБНА - ЩОСУБОТИ від 1 - 6 пополудні (тоді вечеря і вечірня).

2. SINGING PRACTICE AFTER LITURGY- every week - all interested are welcome.  Sparrows Singers, bring your folders.

4. OCTOBER 1/2 WEEKEND WORK. Parish event co-ordinators  will be contacting parishioners for specific help in their area by the end of August. 

5. HOSPITALITY HOMES are needed to house some guests on Consecration Weekend.  If you are able to offer a room, a bed, or even a sofa to one of our special visitors, please call pani Iryna at 905-453-6565. When you receive in your home a stranger, you are welcoming Christ into your home.  Currently we need a place for a priest and his wife, a priest and his wife and three children, four monks, and more!
