The LORD is my strength and my song (Exodus 15:2) "Hear this, you kings! Listen, you rulers! I will sing of the LORD , I will sing; with song I will praise the LORD , the God of Israel. (Judges 5:3)

In the Orthodox Tradition of Worship, everything is sung - even the Bible Readings. No musical instruments are used. The praise and worship of God involves only the instrument that God Himself gave us - the human voice. Clearly the Church has inherited this liturgical form from the Jewish Synagogue Services, Services in which our Lord Himself participated.

By singing the Services, we not only proclaim but also persuade. By announcing the truth of God's love and salvation with music and song, we seek to attract people to God by means of beauty, peace, and joy.

Make plans to visit us and to pray with us. We welcome your voice and the faith of your prayer to complete our "sacrifice of praise". Until then, click on the items above and pray for us.
