The LORD is my strength and my song (Exodus 15:2)

"Hear this, you kings! Listen, you rulers! I will sing of the LORD , I will sing; with song I will praise the LORD , the God of Israel. (Judges 5:3)

In the Orthodox Tradition of Worship, everything is sung - even the Bible Readings.

No musical instruments are used. The praise and worship of God involves only the instrument that God Himself gave us - the human voice. Clearly the Church has inherited this liturgical form from the Jewish Synagogue Services, Services in which our Lord Himself participated.

By singing the Services, we not only proclaim but also persuade. By announcing the truth of God's love and salvation with music and song, we seek to attract people to God by means of beauty, peace, and joy.

The Holy Scriptures enjoin us:

Let them sacrifice thank offerings and tell of his works with songs of joy. (Psalm 107:22)

Speak to one another with psalms, hymns and spiritual songs. Sing and make music in your heart to the Lord... (Ephesians 5:19) Apologies: the Sacred Chants offered on the website are not professional studio recordings, but are merely taped during the ordinary Divine Services of our parish.

To hear the Sacred Music in high-fidelity, quadraphonic, stereo, surround-sound quality, just Click here for Directions of how to come to our Church and join us for worship! We welcome your voice and the faith of your prayer to complete our "sacrifice of praise".

I will praise God's name in song and glorify him with thanksgiving. (Psalm 69:30)

Our mouths were filled with laughter, our tongues with songs of joy. Then it was said among the nations, "The LORD has done great things for them." (Psalm 126:2)
