"...Just sit right back and you'll hear a tale,
...a tale of a fateful trip...
...that started from this tropic port, aboard this tiny ship...."

The mate was a mighty sailing "man",
The skipper brave and sure.

Five passengers set sail that day
For a three hour tour, a three hour tour.

The weather started getting rough,

The tiny ship was tossed,

If not for the courage of the fearless crew
the Ryba would be lost,
the Ryba would be lost..

The ship set ground on the shore of this uncharted desert isle,
With Kyrilligan, The Parish Councillor too,

The millionaire and his wife,

The movie star ....

And the Rest,

Here on Kyrilligan's Isle...

...They're there for a long, long time, [but not too long]

They'll have to make the best of things,

It's an uphill climb.

The first mate and the Skipper too,

Will do their very best,

To make the others comfortable,
In the tropic island nest.

No phone, no lights no motor cars,
Not a single luxury, Like Robinson Carewsky,
As primitive as can be.

So join us here each year my friends,
You're sure to get a smile,

From several stranded camp-aways,
Here on "Kyrilligan's Isle."

We had a rather rocky start,
...we got lost!

I wonder why?

Fortunately, "Plan B" called for somebody to stick their heads outside the canoes and tell us where we were headed....

Snag No. 2: Another sad case of poorly written
Canoe Instructions Manual: missing out important information, e.g. "it works only on water"....

Ok, just kidding...

Now seriously...(really this time)

The Real Disclaimer:

Any resemblance of the members of the St. Elias Youth Group to fictitious television characters is purely coincidental, and certainly not the fault of their parents.

This year's St. Elias Youth Group Canoe Trip was once again
A LOT OF FUN!!!

we really did shoot rapids [honest], swam alot, canoed around, had great food, etc., etc.!!!

...Come see for yourself!

Everyone is welcome at our Church

Join St. Elias Youth Group

....explore strange new worlds....

.....And go where no one has ever gone before

Come on along !

(p.s. Parents, don't worry. Our people have first aid training and wilderness training too.)
