an interview with our friend Protodeacon Nazariy Yaruniv

Enjoy this excellent interview (in Ukrainian) with our good friend Protodeacon Nazariy Yaruniv . We will try to get this piece translated into English. Even if you can't read or understand the article - enjoy the lovely photos and a Video of the All Night Vigil (St. George's Lviv) for the Feast of the Veneration of the Precious Cross. Parishioners will remember Fr. Protodeacon (& Fr.Ivan) from their visit and help with preparations for the consecration of the church. We hope they will come visit us again soon.

If you haven't heard our sparrows singing- you will be delighted and amazed. Please support our children with your presence .  Tickets may be purchased in the church hall.

Ecumenical Kolyada

Sunday evening, January 8, a gathering of Christians took place in our church
consisting of believers from 5 Pentecostal/Evangelical Ukrainian and Russian speaking congregations in the GTA

Beginning with a welcome in the nave of the church and Kolyada sung by members of our parish all proceeded to the parish hall for two hours of Christmas songs of those communities. This was followed by another hour of food and fellowship.

A very edifying evening - different, and yet, sharing the same joy of the Feast!

We look forward to hosting these congregations again soon!
