Attend some or all of the above mentioned services below. Let us gather, as did the Apostles in Gethsemane, and fittingly pay our respects at the funeral services our Mother, the Lady Theotokos. THE SERVICES   TONIGHT Friday August 13th Praises at the Tomb of The Mother Of God  8pm-9:30pm The Praises at the Tomb. This unique and beautiful service is similar to Jerusalem Matins of Holy Saturday. We gather around the shroud of the Theotokos and praise our Holy Mother. A procession with the shroud takes place at dusk. If for good reason you cannot get to church for the above services - this is your chance to pay your respects to “the Mother of Life”. Saturday August 14th  Eve of the Dormition Vigil (Vespers+Matins) 7pm-9:30 The Vigil Service. We begin the feast on the eve. The service consists of Vespers and Matins with blessing of the loaves, carrying forth of the icon, and anointing. Come for part or all of the service. Sunday August 15th Feast of the Dormition Divine Liturgy (bring flowers to bless at Liturgy 9:30 am Hours / 10am Liturgy. The main liturgical celebration of the feast. All are strongly encouraged to attend - bring your children! Bring flowers and herbs for blessing. All Week DORMITION FAST + FOOD DRIVE - Prayer, fasting continues this week during which we will be collecting food for the St. Louise Food Bank in Brampton. Especially needed are jam, black tea, canned milk, oil, corn beef, and vinegar. Please bring your donations of food to any service. If you haven't been to church in a while and are healthy PLEASE COME! We are very fortunate to have space inside ....and out.  ATTENDING SERVICES INSIDE - Effective July 16th in churches is increased to 50% - there is room for all!. You can also continue to gather in the courtyard as there is no capacity there.  Leave seating on benches for those who need it otherwise step 6 feet away. Masks must still be worn inside the church Confessions by prior arrangement ATTENDING SERViCES IN THE COURTYARD  The courtyard and area around the church is sacred space during Divine Liturgy- the SAME as inside the church. Remember: Be  attentive to prayer and participate Dress appropriately. Turn off your cellphones  Please save personal conversations till after the final AMEN!
