Dear St. Elias Family and Friends,

Glory to Jesus Christ!

It is with great sadness that I write to inform you that this morning, we received a call from Lesya Turetska in Lviv that her husband, Bohdan had reposed.

Bohdan Turetsky spent over ten years with us as iconographer, beautifying the interior walls of our original St. Elias church and advising us on all the little touches that made it such a gem. His talent was indeed “from God”. We had hoped that he would return to restore what once was. Perhaps his son, Danylo, but not our dear Bohdan…..

Мay our Lord, His Mother, and all the angels and saints whose images +Bohdan brought to life for us so beautifully, make room for his among themselves….

Наші співчуття дружині Лесі, дітям Данилу та Марті та їхнім родинам. Нехай наш Господь, Його Мати та всі Ангели та Святі, образи, які + Богдан прекрасно створив для нас, приймають його між собою на небі
