The mid-point between Pascha and Pentecost was observed at St. Elias. On the morning of May 2nd, Matins and Divine Liturgy were celebrated by Hieromonk Chrysostomos. After Liturgy, a procession with the cross was made to the church pond and the lesser blessing of water was performed with great joy.
The feast of Mid-Pentecost turns our attention to the coming of the Holy Spirit, and quenching our thirsty souls with Living Water.
Much thanks to Fr. Chrysostomos for all his help over the past month. God cares for this community by sending Angels. Many safe returns!
