You must call the office ahead of time if you wish to attend a Feast Day or Saturday/ Sunday  services.   Office # 905-459-8888.  While we wait to pray together again- be prudent, remember the poor, and check in with family and friends who might be lonely or need help.

HOLY WATER, PARISH CALENDARS, and DONATION ENVELOPES - are available for pick-up in the narthex of the church. The church is open for personal prayer all day.  If you come and find it locked, please call 905-459-8888 and it will be opened for you.

VIRTUAL AGM - The Parish Annual General Meeting will be held on Sunday, February 21st at 1 p.m. via ZOOM.  All reports will be available on-line at least two weeks before the meeting.  Parishioners will receive log-in instructions and password along with their Tax Receipts.

IN CASE OF A FUNERAL: During this time Parishioners should know that they have the option of having a funeral service in the church. The body may be brought it on the eve of the funeral with a simple Panakhyda at 7pm (10 persons in attendance) and the Funeral Service the following morning at 11am (again, 10 persons in attendance).  The advantages of the church option are obvious. All health protocols such as distancing and face coverings are/must be followed. 

OPPORTUNITY FOR HOLY CONFESSION - One of the effects of lock-down is sin.  A sure cure is a good Examination of Conscience and a visit to the confessional.  Fr. Roman is available every evening during Vespers, 7 - 8 p.m.  but to be sure, call him at 905-459-8888.  Mornings are also possible, but for this you must call in advance. "In the life of the body a man is sometimes sick, and unless he takes medicine, he will die. Even so in the spiritual life a man is sick on account of sin. For that reason he needs medicine so that he may be restored to health; and this grace is bestowed in the Sacrament of Penance."  (St. Thomas Aquinas). All health protocols are followed during confession and alternative locations (outdoors for example) are possible.

Masks (properly worn) are alsolutely mandatory. Office # 905-459-8888.  While we wait to pray together again- be prudent, remember the poor, and check in with family and friends who might be lonely or need help.

+ HALYA MYKYTYN reposed in the Lord on January 5th 2021. Our Parish extends sincerest condolences to her husband Nestor and their children. Halya and her entire family have supported this parish with love for many many years. The funeral and burial took place at St. Elias on Friday in the presence of her family. Please remember them in your prayers. Vichnaya Pamyat'

2021 DONATION ENVELOPES AND CALENDARS - are in the narthex on a table next to the candle sales. Please pick these up if possible or call the parish office to have them mailed to you.  The church is often open for personal prayer.  If it is not open when you arrive, please call the parish office and someone will open it for you.
