Call ahead to arrange for Confession. Церква відкрита для приватних молитов протягом тижня VIRTUAL AGM - The Parish Annual General Meeting will be held NEXT Sunday, February 21st at 1 p.m. via ZOOM.  All reports are now available on our website. Please take the time to read through it in preparation for the meeting.  Parishioners should have received log-in instructions and password for the meeting along with their Tax Receipts.  A link to the meeting will be emailed to you later this week. BLESSED CANDLES, HOLY WATER, PARISH CALENDARS, and DONATION ENVELOPES - are still available for pick-up in the vestibule of the church. If you have not been at the church in the last few months, please visit!!! Show your children that the church is still here.  Pick up the items mentioned that are there waiting for you! The church is open every day, all day for personal prayer.  If you come and find it locked, please call 905-459-8888 and it will be opened for you. IN CASE OF A FUNERAL: During this time Parishioners should know that they have the option of having a funeral service in the church. The body may be brought it on the eve of the funeral with a simple Panakhyda at 7pm (10 persons in attendance) and the Funeral Service the following morning at 11am (again, 10 persons in attendance).  The advantages of the church option are obvious. All health protocols such as distancing and face coverings are/must be followed.  OPPORTUNITY FOR HOLY CONFESSION - One of the effects of lock-down is sin.  A sure cure is a good Examination of Conscience and a visit to the confessional.  Fr. Roman is available every evening during Vespers, 7 - 8 p.m.  but to be sure, call him at 905-459-8888.  Mornings are also possible, but for this you must call in advance. "In the life of the body a man is sometimes sick, and unless he takes medicine, he will die. Even so in the spiritual life a man is sick on account of sin. For that reason he needs medicine so that he may be restored to health; and this grace is bestowed in the Sacrament of Penance."  (St. Thomas Aquinas). All health protocols are followed during confession and alternative locations (outdoors for example) are possible.
