FROM THE BISHOP'S OFFICE

НEДІЛЬНИЙ ОБОВЯЗОК - Від єпископської канцелярії: “Онлайн-участь у Божественній Літургії більше не вважається виконанням обов’язку на недільні та святкові дні, за винятком тих, у кого погане здоров’я, які не могли б відвідувати церкву за звичайних обставин.” Звісно, ми повинні приходити з любові, а не з обов’язку, але ми слабкі, тому Церква допомагає нам, оголошуючи недільне богослужіння обов’язком.

OUR SUNDAY OBLIGATION – From the Bishop’s office: “On-line participation in Divine Liturgy is no longer considered a fulfillment of one’s obligation for Sundays and Feasts, with the exception of those in poor health, who would be unable to attend church in normal circumstances.” Of course, we should be coming out of love, not obligation, but we are weak, so the Church helps us by declaring Sunday worship as obligation.  

Note: If you cannot come to church and wish to arrange for Confession and receive Holy Eucharist Fr. Roman will gladly visit. If you are concerned about large groups, please come to the many secondary services during the week. You should feel comfortable wearing masks if you need to. If you are ill or required to isolate please pray at home. Holy Communion procedures (established during Covid) will remain in place for the time being.
